Grundfos CBS launched the mobile version of Express Suite available for iPhone/iPod and Android users.

HyperLink Matt Gallucci, Project Sales Manager for Grundfos Commercial Building Services, is certain that mobile access is a necessity in the commercial construction. An annual production of more than 16 million pump units makes Grundfos one of the world's leading pump manufacturers. The company has been expanding its commercial buildings division for the past several years.

"If you're out in the field and you have a problem on a job site, it offers a quick solution," he explains. Express Suite Mobile gives Matt, and the customers using his company's software, the power to quickly select, configure, price, and quote equipment from virtually anywhere. "You can reference it, find an answer, and immediately email the building owner with the specs and usage rates."

Based out of the Greater Chicago area, Matt directly interacts with owners, contractors, property management companies and engineers -- key decision makers for designing and maintaining commercial property.

"We've become a society that wants information right at our fingertips," he says. "(Our clients) expect that on job sites: they read the tag on a pump, see the amount of flow and the amount of head. They want to size it right there. A mobile app allows you to do that."

Express Suite Mobile includes both a mobile smartphone app and 'Cloud' software reengineered for use on tablet computers. Smartphone users of the powerful Express Selector can immediately select pumps and share detailed datasheets with their customers.

And on tablet computers, sales teams are connected to Express Suite's entire suite to undertake all the complexities of designing highly engineered equipment.

Express Suite Mobile offers a competitive advantage for salesmen in the field: "The tool has to be straightforward and give them the info they need in a quick manner."

That's why Express Suite Mobile is now a key part of Matt's sales efforts. "Customers want it. Competitors are going to offer it. You need to be there, too."
