Grundfos Series SD, Suction diffuser provides
and ensures a uniform flow pattern to the suction side of the pump ensuring a
stable NPSH. Suction diffuser makes it possible to install the pump in a very
narrow spacing as no long bends are necessary.
The suction diffuser incorporates a cylindrical strainer preventing impurities from entering the pump. Additional features include a disposable stainless steel start-up screen for capture and removal of foreign particulates in system piping and an adjustable support for mounting.

Grundfos Series CV, Combination valve combines three valves in
one: shut-off valve, balancing valve, and check valve. The combination valve
makes it possible to reduce the overall system pressure drop since fewer
individual components are needed when installing a pump.
The combination valve provides the feature of changing the flange orientation to
allow 90° pipe connection. Additional feature includes a built-in bypass valve
allowing for drainage of water upstream of the check valve.

Grundfos Expansion Tanks – are designed with a bladder to eliminate any direct air-to-water contact during the make-up water cycle,
where the air can be absorbed into the solution and carried to other parts of the system. The results of entrained air can range from air-locked remote terminal units, system balancing issues and pump cavitation.
The top feed tank design keeps the air to pressurize the system on the outside shell of the tank, with all expanded fluid directed into the bladder chamber.
Air and water are permanently separated during all phases of the system cycle.
Properly sized, selected and located air separators and integrated expansion tanks in closed hydronic systems can provide a stable operation.

Grundfos Tangential Air Separators – are designed for use in any HVAC system.
The tangential inlet and outlet connections create a low pressure vortex in the center of the tank where entrained air can come out of water and be removed at the top of the tank via an air vent connection.
The design also allows for sediment to drop to the bottom of the device to be removed through a blow down connection, and also be supplied with a screen for complete sediment removal.
The use of tangential air separators protects against damage and system noises, protects the pump against impeller damage, and can lead to lower overall operating and extended life of your equipment.
